FieldStep Jobs respects your privacy. This app collects only the information necessary to provide job tracking and team collaboration features. Information We Collect Account Information Email address (used for login and account management) User ID associated with your account Job and Team Data Job locations (address, coordinates) Steps, notes, materials, and checklist updates Photos you choose to upload Team membership and role (Admin, Member, Viewer) App Usage Information Basic device and usage data used to maintain performance and improve reliability FieldStep does not collect contacts, messages, or background location data. How Information Is Used Your information is used to: Authenticate your account Allow you to join or manage a team Display and manage shared job sites Show job locations on a map Enable team collaboration (notes, photos, status updates) Improve app reliability and fix issues We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Team Data Visibility FieldStep is a team-based app. Information entered into a Team (jobs, notes, photos, checklist updates) is visible to other members of the same Team. Team administrators may manage team membership and roles. Photos and Location Photos are accessed only when you choose to upload them. Location data is used only for job locations you create or to sort jobs by distance (if enabled). The app does not track your location in the background. Data Storage Data is stored securely in our cloud backend. Some data may be stored locally on your device for offline use. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the app (such as secure cloud hosting). Data Retention and Account Deletion You may delete job data at any time within the app. If you delete your account, your personal account information will be removed. Job data created within a Team may remain visible to other team members unless removed by a Team administrator. You may contact us to request deletion of your account data.
